Hello and welcome to Pilates with Katie K!About Pilates:Pilates can be adapted to any individual and their specific needs. Whether you are looking to rehabilitate from injury, maximise your sporting achievements, or find a new way to let go of stress and improve wellbeing.At Pilates with Katie K there are a wide range of programmes available, from beginner to advanced, or group settings, to individual assessments.As a Chartered Physiotherapist, I opt to use the APPI method of Pilates, a modified version of Joseph Pilates' original movements.The exercises have been adapted from some of the original sequences developed in the 1920's, to create a graduated system of specific exercises that can be used to rehabilitate from injury, improve posture, and regain muscle control, strength, and flexibility in a safe and effective way.My Classes:I currently offer beginner/intermediate classes on Mondays and Thursdays, from 6-6.30pm. These classes are perfect for anyone new to the world of Pilates, but within the class I also offer graduated difficulties for you to tailor the session to your own ability.All group classes are pay-as-you-go and are charged at just £3 per session.I also offer 1-to-1 sessions, please email me for more information.
